暑气渐消，清秋将至，正是亲手雕琢时令雅致小物的绝佳时节。8 月 21 日，东湖别墅专属手工坊温情启幕，诚邀各位家人邂逅千年非遗宋锦织造技艺，于指尖摩挲锦绣肌理，亲手制作专属宋锦小马挂坠，将初秋第一缕东方雅致珍藏归家。

As summer heat fades and autumn draws near, it is the ideal time to craft a seasonal keepsake with your own hands. On August 21st, the East Lake Villas Handicraft Workshop cordially invites residents to delve into Song brocade, a millennia-old intangible cultural heritage weaving craft. Feel the delicate texture of splendid brocade at your fingertips, handcraft an exclusive little horse pendant, and bring home the first touch of refined oriental elegance in early autumn.

PART 01 锦绣非遗・千年宋锦

宋锦与南京云锦、四川蜀锦并称中国三大名锦，肇始于宋代，素来享有「锦绣之冠」的美誉。2006 年，宋锦织造技艺入选首批国家级非物质文化遗产名录中国日报网。

它采用经纬双向起花织造技法，纹样繁复精妙、色调温润素雅，质地轻薄挺括、柔韧有型，自古便是文人雅士制作衣衫、香囊、配饰的首选面料。

Regarded as the Crown of All Brocades, Song brocade ranks alongside Nanjing Yunjin and Sichuan Shu Brocade as China’s Three Great Traditional Brocades. Originating in the Song Dynasty, it was inscribed on China’s First National List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2006.

Woven with warp and weft threads interlaced to form intricate patterns, it boasts elaborate motifs, muted elegant hues and a lightweight yet crisp texture. For centuries, it has been the premium fabric favoured by ancient literati for garments, pouches and fine adornments.

Once treasured museum artifacts, Song brocade is now seamlessly integrated into modern life. Breaking traditional boundaries, it adorns exquisite cosmetic packaging and gains popularity via cross-border collaborations with trendy toys and cultural creations. Computerized jacquard weaving has upgraded inefficient manual craftsmanship, making this once luxurious imperial silk accessible to all. It is also crafted into delicate jewellery and creative handicrafts, allowing people to appreciate the charm of heritage through hands-on experience. From museum showcases to daily necessities, from ancient traditions to contemporary trends, a brand-new story of Song brocade is being woven in modern times.

时序流转，盛夏将尽，清秋徐徐启程。古人素来讲究换季换新衣，秋日穿搭偏爱面料挺括温润、气韵简约雅致，恰好与宋锦的面料特质相得益彰。恰逢丙午马年，我们撷取宋锦经典纹样，裁制灵动小马挂坠，既是顺应时节的东方雅事，更寄予岁岁安康、顺遂无忧的美好祈愿。

Time marches on; sweltering summer is waning, and refreshing autumn is approaching. Ancient Chinese upheld the custom of making new garments for seasonal transitions. Autumn attire prioritises crisp, mild and refined fabrics — a quality perfectly embodied by Song brocade. In the Bingwu Year of the Horse, we draw inspiration from timeless Song brocade patterns to craft delicate horse pendants. This seasonal oriental pastime carries sincere wishes for peace and well-being all year round.

PART 02 活动详情

本次宋锦手作工坊设于东湖别墅鸳鸯馆，特邀资深非遗手工导师全程亲临授课，一对一指导布料挑选、纹样排布、裁剪缝制、缀饰拼装全流程。于一针一线、一布一饰间，沉浸式体悟非遗织锦的匠心魅力。

Event Details

The Song Brocade Handicraft Workshop will be held at Yuanyang Guan of East Lake Villas. Professional heritage crafts instructors will provide on-site guidance throughout the whole process, including pattern selection, cutting, sewing and assembly. Immerse yourself in the timeless charm of intangible cultural heritage weaving amid every stitch and piece of fabric.
